Four legal firms have been selected 

NFU Mutual is revising its legal panel following a comprehensive reviewing and tendering process.

It will provide claims legal services throughout the UK.

Four legal service firms have been selected to support the claims function, they will provide the rural insurer with support across the breadth of general insurance claims operations.

The panel will consist of BTO Solicitors LLP, DAC Beachcroft LLP, DWF LLP and John McKee and Son Solicitors.

The new contracts will be awarded for a period of three years and will be effective from 1 January 2019.

Jon Cawley, head of claims at NFU Mutual, said: “NFU Mutual has completed an extensive review of its future requirements for Claims Legal Services to create a single panel across all the jurisdictions in which it operates.

“The consolidated panel provides for future relationships of greater depth and importance that will help us deliver our strategy of managing claims litigation proactively and effectively whilst continuing to support the future needs of our Customers.”

NFU Mutual offers a wide range of products, including general insurance, life, pensions, and investments.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
