Norwich and Peterborough Insurance Brokers (NPIB), has acquired the general insurance business of Alan Sexton Insurance Brokers (ASIB).
NPIB is the general insurance broking arm of the Norwich and Peterborough building society.
The two companies will trade under the name NPIB, and will be one of the largest insurance brokers in East Anglia, according to NPIB.
Staff at the Alan Sexton office in Woodbridge will continue to be employed by NPIB
NPIB said the acquisition would enable it to expand the range of services offered by the group.
