Norwich Union (NU) has added a private motor capability to its e-broking website for brokers.

From 1 November brokers signed up to NU's e-services have been able to get quotations and issue new business for cars, vans and motorcycles.

The insurer said the system would also allow brokers to make mid-term adjustments and issue policy documentation.

Under the system, brokers will be able to issue up to five vehicles on one policy and to issue policies for vehicles in company names. It said the new business pricing would match the rates already available via full-cycle EDI.

NU said the addition of private motor to the e-broking service meant brokers now have access to a full range of personal lines products.
