Insurer restructures customer support team

Norwich Union is to cut 34 jobs in its customer support team from offices in Norwich, Walsall, Bristol, Worthing, Liverpool, Perth and Bishopbriggs.

A spokesman for the company said: “We have announced a restructure of our customer support team to ensure it provides a more valuable service in a more efficient manner.

“We understand this will be very unsettling for the staff involved and we are committed to keep them updated with every step of this process,” he said.
