Toad Group will install the telematics “black box” system to cars selected to take part in Norwich Union's (NU) Pay-As-You-Drive™ insurance product.
The service uses in-car technology to calculate premiums based on when and how far a vehicle is driven.
Toad said its network of engineers would install the ‘black box' devices into policyholders cars.
The device uses Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology to record journey details, which are then transmitted securely to NU via a mobile phone network.
