Omega Underwriting has maintained its previous forecasts for Syndicate 958 for the 2003 and 2004 years of account, adding that recent hurricanes will have a 'negligible' effect on 2005 results, which are expected to be strong.
Its forecast for 2003 for the syndicate remains at 10%-15% of capacity and 5%-10% for 2004.
The group said: "Given a normal claims development, the syndicate's 2005 year of account is expected to be profitable."
