Staff from Ins-sure Services' two London offices will come under one roof as part of a move to unite Lloyd's and the Company Market.

Speaking at the Ins-sure conference in Brighton, managing director John Benjamin said the move to Billiter Street would be completed in December.

Earlier this year, Ins-sure was selected to bring the two back-offices of the Lloyd's Policy Signing Office (LPSO) and the International Underwriting Association's London Processing Centre (LPC) closer together.

This will help reduce administration costs and enable the development of an e-business infrastructure so market participants can compete effectively throughout the world.

Benjamin said: "Before, there was one office in the London Underwriting Centre and one in Lloyd's. Now, our 45 staff will be independent of either party and in the middle of brokers and underwriters."

Ins-sure also has offices in Folkestone and Chatham and employs more than 500 people. It has a turnover of £39m.
