Open GI's Michele Munn promoted to head of customer service

Open GI has appointed Michele Munn as head of customer service.

Munn was formerly head of insurer relations at Open GI and has previously worked as a consultant in the broker market.

She will now be responsible for customer support, training, consultancy, software release and distribution, along with a 45-strong team.

Open GI operations director, Helen Barker, said: “The customer is at the heart of everything we do at Open GI – we want our brokers to have the best possible service and employing the best staff is crucial to delivering this.

"We are continually improving our service to make it quicker and easier for customers to get hold of the information they require and Michele will be key to ensuring this happens."

Munn, said: “With over 2000 broking customer sites, each with varying requirements, it’s vital Open GI offers comprehensive and proactive support.

"Having worked within the broker market I understand the challenges faced by businesses and the need to have a technological solution which is both adept and robust to deal with the demands of trading."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
