Independent broker Outright, which was formed after a management buy-out of HSBC Select three months ago, has acquired the ongoing relationship with the employee benefit customers of Willis company Willis First Response.

The deal sees the policies of the 25,000 policyholders rebranded as `First Response' from 27 August.

Outright, which until now has been looking after the customers on an outsourced basis, said the customers would benefit from a bespoke service from its 420 strong customer service centre, in Stoke-on-Trent.

Bob Bright, the chief executive of Outright, said: "Willis is one of the UK's leading brokers, and acquiring their personal lines customers is a clear demonstration to the market of the respect that Willis places on Outright's ability to provide a superior level of service and product offering going forward."

The Willis purchase follows other outsourcing wins for Outright. The company has already taken on business from Graham Brown, Berkeley Burke and Lycetts.

Outright provides dedicated third party, affinity and white labeled management of personal lines businesses for brokers, insurers and other providers.
