Andrew Brown to chair broker's risk, audit and compliance committee
Oval has appointed Andrew Brown as a non-executive director.
Brown, who has significant expertise in the financial services industry, has been appointed to chair Oval’s risk, audit and compliance committee.
He spent eight years with Sedgwick Group where he was finance director of the group’s worldwide insurance broking activities and was finance director and subsequently joint chief executive of Gartmore Investment Management.
Brown said: “Oval is growing rapidly and is gearing up to meet the commercial and regulatory challenges associated with an innovative company in an industry that continues to move forward and develop.”

Brown is currently a non-executive director of a number of companies including Framlington Income & Capital Trust, Thames River Capital (UK) and H & T Group.
