If anyone's wondering why Andrew Paddick has been so quiet recently, then perhaps this picture wil partly explain. The IIB's director generahas been building himself a boat — a 27ft motor sailer to be precise — in his back garden.
Paddick's a keen sailor and is 70% of the way through fitting out his vessel. He writes about his progress regularly for Sailing Today – which makes a change from haranguing regulators.
