Wilkinson will help to develop broker’s business development strategy

Perkins Slade has appointed Dan Wilkinson, former RSA regions director for mid-market, as a consultant to develop it’s business development strategy.

Wilkinson left RSA in February after just over a year at the company. He joined the insurer in January last year from Willis, where he had spent 16 years.

Commenting on his appointment Wilkinson said: “I am delighted to be working with Perkins Slade as the leading independent broker in the Midlands. I am keen to utilise my experience to help the company achieve its goals.”

Perkins Slade said both parties have expressed a “mutual interest” in seeing the consulting appointment develop into a longer term relationship.

Chief executive Nick Tamblyn added: “We are delighted that Dan has chosen to be involved with Perkins Slade. His energy, drive and development experience will help Perkins Slade achieve its ambitious growth targets. Dan will work closely with the senior executive team to build upon the success we have already achieved in recent years.”
