Office will be transferred to fellow Unitas firm
Perkins Slade has sold its Petersfield office to Sutton Winson for an undisclosed fee.
The deal will involve all 11 staff at the Hampshire office transferring to Sutton Winson, and should be completed on 6 November.
Perkins Slade chairman David Slade said: “We want to concentrate on growing our size and expanding our base in Birmingham. It was a distraction having an office 120 to 130 miles away. We could not give it the management commitment it deserved.”
Slade said he was pleased to hand over to a fellow member of Unitas, the alliance of independent brokers he helped to found.
The Petersfield office is a commercial lines broker in the SME sector, with specialist broking skills for naval heritage.
Sutton Winson has offices in Twickenham, Middlesex, and Burgess Hill, West Sussex.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
