More than 3,000 brokers and agents have been enticed into selling Pinnacle Pet Healthcare - by acting as nothing more than an introductory service.
Pinnacle has struck a deal with Agency Underwriting Limited (AUL) in which brokers will promote the lifetime protection product without having to deal with the administration process.
Pinnacle marketing director Simon Wheeler said: "Pet insurance has never really caught the imagination of brokers as it has never been seen as cost effective.
"We have enticed brokers and agents by taking on the administration and renewals process ourselves. Brokers will just receive a tidy commission for introducing customers to us."
