The police have released CCTV pictures of a man and a lorry they wish to trace in connection with the theft of a container from Thamesport.

The container is bright orange and 40ft long by 10ft high with the number HLXU 6159080.

It has distinctive Hapag-Lloyd lettering and logo. It was stolen from Isle of Grain terminal on 23 January.

The contents consisted of 4,491 packages of Gillette grooming products.

PLC Consultancy Services director of transport security Frank Heinrich-Jones investigated on behalf of Hapag-Lloyd.

He said: "We urgently need the help of the vast majority of honest and law-abiding lorry drivers, hauliers and others who might have information leading to the identification of the vehicle."
