The PR team at Allianz Cornhill was stunned and upset to find itself conspicuously absent from the shortlist for the Best Press Office category at this year's ABI Media Awards.

Having won the trophy the year before, it seemed a drastic drop in PR cred.

But embarrassed officials at the event came clean and admitted that the team had indeed reached the shortlist, but due to a printing error had not managed to make it on to the event programme.
