Rainbow International has won a multi-million pound contract to provide disaster restoration services to Capita Insurance Services.

The latest in a long line of successes, this contract will cover the 1.5m fire, flood and accidental damage claims which Capita manages each year, worth £1.5bn.

Rainbow's 130 franchises began handling Capita's household claims at the start of September.

Rainbow International Managing director Melvin Lusty said: "This is a prestigious and valuable contract which reinforces Rainbow International's reputation as the UK's leading disaster restoration company.

He added: "It demonstrates the attraction of using a franchised operation with clients benefiting from a highly committed service provided by well motivated teams backed up by substantial resources and sophisticated management systems."

The deal is the latest success for the company which has turned a £350000 annual turnover into a £30m turnover.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
