Seven-year association with German car giant continues.
RBS Insurance has announced its recent contract extension of its long-standing insurance Partnership with BMW Financial Services UK.
RBS Insurance currently provide Motor, Home & Travel Insurance for both BMW and MINI brands. BMW Motorcycle Insurance (BMW Motorrad) is also supplied through its Devitt intermediary operation.
Darren Siddle, RBS Insurance Business Sector manager, Automotive Partners said that RBS Insurance said the move reflected the insurer's strategy of “working with leading brands, to develop scale business portfolios over the long term.”
He added: “We are excited about the fantastic potential to accelerate growth through the BMW and MINI dealer network, with service propositions such as seven day complimentary cover.”
Bryan Garwood, BMW Financial Services general manager, Insurance commented: “BMW Financial Services have enjoyed a successful partnership with RBS Insurance since 2002 and we are seeking to build further on our achievements to date. The BMW and MINI brands have strong brand appeal and a loyal customer base."
RBS Insurance controls a third of the UK private motor market, with insurers including Direct Line, Churchill and NIG.
