Jackson Review will benefit claimants in personal injury cases, according to RBS Insurance

RBS Insurance has welcomed the recommendations on how costs should be decided on civil compensation cases, put forward in Lord Justice Jackson's civil litigation review.

Steve Treloar, managing director of motor at RBS Insurance said: “We believe reducing the layers of bureaucracy and litigation costs in personal injury cases will assist in ensuring those claimants with genuine needs are compensated appropriately, whilst deterring those wishing to put forward fraudulent compensation claims.

"As well as benefiting the claimant, proposals to lower legal costs associated with civil compensation cases will also help keep insurance premiums down."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
