Royal Insurance and Sun Alliance’s 1996 merger was “shambolic” and bosses showed “a lack of remorse”, The Times said after Jerry Levin apologised for the Time Warner/AOL merger.

“Such apologies from business titans are remarkably rare,” the Times bemoaned.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
