RSA names Evans as group HR director

RSA has named Vanessa Evans as its new group HR director, immediately replacing Orlagh Hunt.

Evans joined RSA in 2005 and has held a number of roles including HR business partner director for UK claims and business services, HR director for emerging markets, and RSA UK HR director.

She was previously global retail HR director at LEGO and head of HR for Gap.

RSA group chief executive Simon Lee said: “I am delighted to announce that Vanessa will take up the role and join me on the group executive. She has already done a great job in a variety of positions at RSA and I welcome her to the team.”

Evans said: “Over the past six year,s I’ve had the pleasure of working across most areas of RSA with some fantastic people and I’m looking forward to the challenges that my new role will bring.”
