The Rubicon Corporation said it was hoping to recruit ten brokers within the next six months for its new outsourced personal lines service.
Aimed at commercial lines or schemes-focused brokers who have smaller personal lines operations, the new service will be a white label offering tailored to individuals brokers' needs.
Initially only motor and home products will be offered through the outsourced service, along with related add-on products such as breakdown and family legal protection cover, said business development manager Doug Phelan.
"We will look at widening the product range in the future, but brokers have told us that the products they want most urgently addressed are motor and home," said Phelan.
Costs will be calculated on the level and type of service each broker specified, with Rubicon taking a share of the commission earned on each sale.
