Primary Insurance Group has launched a continental breakdown cover for self-drive holidays abroad after striking an alliance with the RAC.
The cover is targeted at agents specialising in self-drive holidays. It can be sold either as a stand-alone or as an add-on to Primary's single trip or budget traveller travel insurance policies. The product is net-rated.
Emergency assistance is available in the vent of vehicle breakdown, road traffic accident, fire or theft, or when the only qualified driver is medically unfit to drive. Assistance is provided through the 24-hour RAC Continental Control centre in Lyon, France.
