Following the launch of its home insurance proposition, Elements, Select & Protect has rolled out Sprite2, the next generation of its GI trading platform.

Available via website download from www.select-protect.co.uk, or CD, Sprite2 has been designed following extensive broker research and testing, and features a new software system and processing engine, which is free to all registered intermediaries.

Sprite 2 has been developed to complement the company’s new corporate branding and benefits from an intuitive and ergonomic layout with an extremely user friendly navigational system, the company claims.

The system also integrates with all of the leading sourcing systems, including pre-population of data to create a quick, simple and compliant process for the mortgage and GI advice and sales process.

Bruce Reid, Managing Director at Select & Protect, comments: "Sprite2 is the culmination of consultation and feedback between Select & Protect and our broker community. We looked at the way a typical quote works, what questions are asked and how the answers should flow and be captured.

“The overwhelming responses from brokers were centred on simplicity of the buying process and customer choice, so the major developments we’ve made to Sprite2 have completely streamlined the quoting process. The launch of Sprite2 and Elements together was aimed at delivering a much wider and efficient proposition, providing choice and price competitiveness under one platform. We firmly believe Sprite2 achieves this.”

Elements, launched in May, allows brokers to offer like-for-like quotes on a single, common wording policy with all administration and claims handled by Select & Protect, and underwritten by three blue chip insurers: Norwich Union, Allianz and Zurich. Since its launch Select & Protect has seen new business increase by over 25%.
