Name change follows the Lloyd’s broker being acquired by Manchester Underwriting Management last month

London Market broker Senior Wright Indemnity has changed its name to MGB Insurance Brokers, effective immediately.

As revealed by Insurance Times, Manchester Underwriting Management (MUM) bought the professional indemnity Lloyd’s broker last month.

The £2.3m brokerage specialises in wholesale professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’ and financial risks for regional brokers going into the London Market. Within professional indemnity it has a particular specialism in construction.

MGB Insurance Brokers joint managing director Glenn Gostling said: “The change to MGB Insurance Brokers is the start of many changes that we are going through to make sure we build on our reputation and provide the service that brokers really want.”
