Yorkshire-based insurance brokers Smart & Cook has added to its seven strong chain by buying CS Horne Insurance Consultants in Keighley near Leeds.
As part of the tie-up CS Horne is moving its head office to Smart & Cook's Skipton base.
Smart & Cook managing director Paul Meehan said its strategy is to grow its client base in advance of demand by bolting on new staff and operations.
The group has recently been invited to become the UK affiliate of US and Canadian broker network organisation Associated Risk Managers International.
