AIG agency dealTravel and personal accident underwriting agency BSU has appointed AIG Europe as the sole underwriter for its personal lines travel insurance products Escape and Escape Gold.BSU, which has an annual premium income of £5m, said it was currently working with over 350 insurance brokers in the UK.

Geo survey serviceA ground stability advice service has been launched by the British Geological Survey (BGS) to help reduce the risks associated with building developments on potentially unstable lands.The service, called GeoSure, uses digital technology to identify natural subsidence hazards, and can be used throughout England, Scotland and Wales. The service is based on a computerised geological map of Britain, said BGS.
