  • InsurE-com has added Ansvar Insurance Company to its insurer panel and the insurE-com portal, it announced. Ansvar Insurance, a subsidiary of Ecclesiastical Insurance, is to release its household policy Home Connect this month to intermediaries using insurE-com back office solutions.

  • Inkfish head to go

  • LMA appointment

  • The Lloyd's Market Association (LMA) has appointed Bill Rendall as head of underwriting and claims from 14 June. The position will give underwriters a more effective role with the franchiser, said the LMA.

  • Cox network deal

  • Members of The Broker Network will be able to take advantage of personal lines administration facilities offered by Cox Insurance after the two companies signed an exclusive deal.

    The deal follows a successful pilot of the scheme, Broker Network Personal Insurance.

  • Claims firm demise

  • Personal injury claims firm Accident Advice Helpline has gone into administration. Accountany firm Lennard Curtis & Co has been appointed to oversee the process, claimed a report.

    A director of parent company Accident Advice Holdings, Lance Beck, said the subsidiary had failed because one of its financial backers pulled out of the market after the collapse of The Accident Group last year.
