Syndicate 55's UK regional team is to join Charringtons to concentrate on UK property and commercial combined insurance.
The move follows Syndicate 55's withdrawal from the UK market in December. "The fact that the team is available immediately enables us to expand our account in the provinces ahead of schedule," said Syndicate 962 active underwriter David Pye.
"This brings us an important step closer to becoming a major force in the UK market with capacity and underwriting capability to rival the best UK companies."
The team is Malcolm Clark, UK development manager, along with Simon Boyle, Tay Holland and Neil Revill who are UK development underwriters.
