Gerritsen joins from Marsh Netherlands
THB has announced the appointment of Rick Gerritsen as broking director of its European division in Amsterdam.
Gerritsen joins THB from Marsh Netherlands where he has been vice-president since 2008. He has spent more than 20 years in the insurance market, including a period in the Caribbean where he gained valuable leadership experience heading up Caribbean Insurance Brokers.
THB European division executive director Paul Lindeboom said: “Having Rick as part of the team is a fantastic opportunity for us. Rick’s expertise and excellent management skills will offer unparalleled support as we continue with our growth strategy across all our target audiences in Europe.”
Gerritsen said: “This is an exciting move for me and I am looking forward to helping build on the position of THB’s European division as one of the leading reinsurance intermediaries in Europe.”
