London market player buys another AFL account

THB has snapped up AFL Insurance Brokers’ UK commercial wholesale account. 

A team of three, headed by Tim Lissenden, have joined THB’s London market division and will be reunited with AFL’s former fleet account which THB bought last year.

THB London market division managing director Darren Nightingale said: “Following the successful integration of AFL’s fleet account last year, we are delighted to welcome Tim and his team into our division. 

“Having full access to THB’s facilities will strengthen their offering to the brokers within the AFL account and they will also enhance the facultative and binder offerings for our existing brokers.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
