Jon Bowen to take on newly created role

Paymentshield, part of the Towergate Group, has appointed Jon Bowen to the newly created role of customer service director. 

Bowen has held previous positions as Co-operative Banking Group head of customer relations and senior management roles within the industry including retail network manager, head of banking sales and service and head of retail relationship operations.

Bowen will be responsible for the customer contact centre, broker support and overall customer operations. 

Paymentshield chief executive Tim Johnson said: “I am delighted to welcome Jon into this newly created and important role within Paymentshield. Our customers are at the heart of what we do and our renewed focus on the customer presented the opportunity to review and enhance our leadership team.  Jon will be instrumental in driving our customer service initiatives through 2014 and beyond.”

Bowen will report directly Johnson and will join the company in January 2014.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
