If climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hours wasn’t testing enough then try doing it while looking pretty in pink.

That was precisely the challenge faced by members of Aon’s mergers and acquisitions group (Amag) and knowledge management team as they threw off the shackles of City garb to complete the Three Peaks Challenge in bright pink ballerina skirts – handmade by a team member’s mum.

In a bid to earn extra sponsorship, Amag chairman Roger Macey, cast aside his seniority to take on the style challenge at the top of each mountain.

The team’s efforts raised £8,060 for Hammer Out, a small charity that gives help to people with brain tumours and their families, so Backchat takes its hat and tutu off to you.
