Neil Martin appointed director of new business sales at UK General
Leeds-based managing general agency UK General Insurance has hired Neil Martin as director of new business sales.
Martin will report to executive chairman Howard Posner and takes up his new role on 1 November.
Posner said: “We are absolutely delighted to recruit someone of Neil’s calibre, and his appointment marks a key stage in delivering our plans to grow our share of the UK broker market.”
He added: “Neil will take overall responsibility for our new business development, including the commercial, rural and new scheme sales teams.”
Martin joins UK General from personal lines affinity broker Junction where he was responsible for managing trading performance and developing commercial strategy for a number of brands including Post Office, Co-Op insurance and Santander.
