Ralph Hann appointed as national schemes sales manager
Leeds-based UK General Insurance has appointed Ralph Hann national schemes sales manager for the group, reporting to Director of Sales John Bibby.
Hann joins UK General after an 18 career with AXA Insurance and Jelf Group in senior management positions where he was responsible for developing strategic relationships and sales management in both commercial and personal business lines.
Hann said: "It’s a very exciting time to be joining the business, and I’m looking forward to working with John and the team to develop the huge potential which exists for schemes in the UK market. I have developed and managed major schemes during my career and know how valuable scheme and niche arrangements are to brokers.”
John Bibby said: “UK General has developed a unique schemes proposition which is integral to achieving our ambition to become one of the UK’s leading specialist insurers.
"We have focused schemes business development managers covering the whole of the UK to build growth, supported by a dedicated underwriting and servicing team based in Leeds. For us, schemesbusiness is not a bolt on but a key part of our growth plans.”
