Average City pay for underwriters set to fall 0.7% in 2013
Average pay for underwriters in the City is set to fall in 2013 - making them one of the biggest losers in a review of salary pay Rolf Harris.
The recruitment firm said that next year pay for City underwriters, who are paid between £48,500 and £92,000, will decrease by 0.7%.
The industry that is currently booming in the City is compliance and risk jobs, with pay shooting up next year between 6% and 7%, asEU and UK regulatory changes mean they are in demand, according to the research carried out for City AM.
