Arbella Insurance Group has outsourced its document management services in an attempt to cut costs, improve client services and gain access to enhanced technology.

US-based Arbella Insurance Group has outsourced its document management services in an attempt to cut costs, improve client services and gain access to enhanced technology.

The New England P&C insurance carrier has signed a $20m (£13.8m), five-year contract with New York-listed CGI Group.

CGI will serve Arbella from its Document Management Services operation in Andover, Massachusetts. The facility produces over eight million documents per month for CGI's clients and their customers.

On a monthly basis, CGI will print for Arbella approximately 2.5 million images and mail approximately 400,000 to 500,000 policies and billing-related forms.

CGI will also implement various software and hardware products to manage, simplify, and streamline Arbella's print and distribution workflow.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
