Lloyd's chief executive Richard Ward may yet be the new Damien Hirst. Early next year he is to introduce a new sculpture to decorate the world’s oldest insurance market.
The sculpture, a white van crushed into a cube, will symbolise Lloyd’s move into the electronic age.
The old slip system required data to be written on reams of paper and then hauled to Chatham by white vans for inputting.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
