Alleghany, syndicate 376, has launched an ecommerce product for hull war risks, called Warsure.com.
The syndicate is supported by, Beazley syndicate 623 and ME Denby & Ors, syndicate 609.
Customers can register online, obtain and bind quotes, view and make changes to the cover, and notify claims.
James Skinner, hull and war underwriter at Alleghany, said: “Given the speed at which conflicts can escalate, Warsure.com can react quickly to any situation.”
Cover can be arranged for 12 months for vessels trading worldwide, subject to exclusions under the London Market's war risks trading warranties.
