SSP wins India deal

SSP Holdings has been awarded a contract by United India Insurance company. A consortium of SSP and HP, supported by Microsoft, will provide core insurance IT solutions across the insurer’s entire Indian business. The agreement, initially in place for seven years, will generate SSP approximately $2.4m (£1.2m) extra revenue.

FSA cuts return data

The FSA will simplify and shorten the complaints return and the retail mediation activities return (RMAR) which brokers must complete. The volume of information that firms must report will be reduced by around 80% for complaints and 30% for retail mediation.
