Giles Wilkinson to become partner at JLT Aerospace

Giles Wilkinson, previously chairman of Willis Aviation, is joining JLT Aerospace as a partner.

Giles will join JLT Aerospace from the 1st September and will be based in London.

He has over thirty years experience working at a senior level within the insurance industry and knowledge of the aviation sector with a particular focus on Japan and Asia.

Nigel Weyman, chairman of JLT Aerospace said: "Giles is an exciting and quality addition to our expanding Aerospace operation.

"His knowledge and experience of both the Japanese and Asian insurance market brings additional strength and added value to our existing strong platform as we continue to fulfil our ambitions for growth in Asia and worldwide".

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
