Broker appoints former RSA property investors unit founder Philip Reynolds as advisor.

Willis has appointed Philip Reynolds as an advisor to its Property Investors Division.

In 1995, Reynolds created and built the Royal & SunAlliance (RSA) Property Investors Unit into the industry-leading provider of insurance solutions for commercial property investors. He is seen as a customer relationship expert, with a reputation for delivering excellent client service through dedicated client-focussed teams.

In his new role, Reynolds will report to John Dilley, managing director of the Willis Property Investors Division. Drawing on his extensive business experience, Reynolds will provide advice and guidance on the development of Willis’ strategy for further enhancing client service and relationship management, with particular emphasis on consultation with senior property market figures.

Reynolds has over 37 years experience in the insurance industry, and during that time worked exclusively for RSA in many varied roles throughout the UK.

He is well known in the London Property and Insurance Markets and has been actively involved in industry bodies as vice president of the Insurance Institute of London and a member of the European committee of the Association of British Insurers. Reynolds is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Insurers.

John Dilley said: “Securing the experience and knowledge of someone with Philip’s reputation further enhances our service offering and commitment to the property investment market.”

Reynolds added: “Although my career has been with one leading insurer, I have for many years admired Willis’ client focus and their drive to be the best in the highly specialised segment of property investors business. I am delighted to be able to help them build on their own excellent reputation.”
