McCann to take up role in July
Willis Group has announced that presiding independent director Jim McCann will replace non-executive chairman and former chief executive Joe Plumeri.
McCann will take up his post in July, when Plumeri retires.
McCann said: “I’m grateful for my fellow board members’ confidence and thank Joe Plumeri for his 12 years of extraordinary leadership of our firm.
Willis chief executive Dominic Casserley said: “I am delighted to welcome Jim McCann as the new chairman of Willis, succeeding Joe Plumeri, who has led Willis with extraordinary distinction.”
