Former HP executive to join a week after Brace’s departure

Appoint, appointment, hand, handshake, shake, new, join

Xchanging will unveil former Hewlett Packard vice-president Adrian Guttridge as head of its insurance services division tomorrow, Insurance Times understands.

His expected announcement comes a week after Xchanging Claims Services’ (XCS) executive director Glenn Brace quit the technology firm to join Catlin as global head of claims.

Guttridge will replace Jane Tutoki, who left the firm earlier this year to join AIG as head of claims operations. Her role had been filled by Xchanging’s group director of corporate development and strategy Jon Stratford on an interim basis since May.

Guttridge, who will report directly to group chief executive Ken Lever, will oversee the growth of Xchanging’s global insurance services business.

Prior to his spell at AIG, Guttridge was director of IT systems at UK bank Abbey National and also held senior positions at Accenture.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
