XL Capital has released its loss estimate forecast for European Windstorm Kyrill...

XL has released its loss forecast from European Windstorm Kyrill, put the figure at between $60m to $75m. The majority of the loss will come from its reinsurance segment.

The company added however there is still a wide range of industry loss estimates, and many clients are only in the early stages of their exposure evaluations, therefore the its preliminary loss estimate range could change.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
