New contract signed with First Recovery

Zurich will offer emergency disaster recovery services to all of its UK SME customers after signing a new three-year contract with First Recovery.

The insurer previously only offered the service to its mid-market corporate clients through the disaster recovery service provider. But it will now be the first of the ‘big five’ carriers to extend the offering to all clients in the UK.

Zurich head of SME Jason Eatock said: “That we’ve agreed to continue our partnership with First Recovery is testament to the support they demonstrated to our customers over the last five years.

“That our customers large and small can continue to rely on this when they most require it should set their minds at ease.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
