Steven Zuanella is the new digital director, while Simon Gratton joins as interim chief data officer
Zurich has made two key appointments to its general insurance operations leadership team to boost its digital offering.
Steven Zuanella joins Zurich in the newly created role of digital director, while Simon Gratton joins as interim chief data officer.
Zuanella joins Zurich from Bupa where he was group digital director. He has held previous digital, ecommerce and strategic roles with Prudential Assurance and Barclays Bank. In his new role, Zuanella will lead the development of an overarching digital strategy and future roadmap at the insurer.
Simon Gratton has joined as interim chief data officer, arriving from Capgemini. At Zurich he will be responsible for defining the strategy for management information, data management and analytics for the UK General Insurance division.
Both roles will report to Zurich’s UK General Insurance division chief operations officer Barry Perkins, with the Zuanella also reporting to chief marketing officer Kay Martin.
