Zurich has developed a new fine art and specie product combining commercial business cover and specialist stock insurance in one policy.
The new combined package includes cover for buildings, employers' liability, public and products liability and business interruption. Zurich said the product is aimed at museums, art and antique dealers, galleries, jewellery retailers, manufacturers and wholesalers.
Howard Kingston, head of underwriting for fine art and specie at Zurich London said: "We believe this product is unique because no other single provider offers all these types of cover under one policy to such a broad cross section of the fine art and specie market."
