Exit, sign, leave, quit, resign

Zurich UK Personal Lines and Endsleigh managing director Patrick Cohen has resigned after less than a year in his role, Insurance Times can reveal.

Cohen was appointed in October 2015. He took over from David Nichols, who had been running personal lines and Endsleigh on an interim basis after the departure of Tim Holliday last July.

Prior to that, Cohen was based in Zurich’s offices in Switzerland as group head of customer and distribution for general insurance.

A spokesman for Zurich said: “We can confirm that Patrick Cohen, who has been personal lines managing director for Zurich in the UK since October last year, has decided to leave the company to pursue opportunities outside the UK for family reasons.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
