    Chief officer: Martin Hudson
Biography: Hudson was born in Malta and educated at St Peter's School at Lympstone in Devon and then at Dauntsey's School in Wiltshire. In 1977, he joined a Lloyd's syndicate as a clerk and in 1980 moved to St Katherine Insurance Company, which became part of The St Paul Companies in 1988 and changed its name to St Paul International Insurance Company.

From 1977 to 1990, he specialised in liability insurance and reinsurance in North America.
In 1990, St Paul entered the specialised UK business to business insurance market and Hudson was one of the early founders of the new greenfield operation. He conducted the new product research and launch programme until 1995, when he became the leader of this growing organisation, which has progressed from its start-up to more than £200m of gross premiums today.
